Well… I do not mean to be the barer of bad news or complain but I got some bad news this week…. 

First- no NYC marathon for me…. I knew it was a long shot since they only take 11% of the lottery applicants but I had hoped. I considered running for a charity but Glen and I kind of left it up to God… decided that if I did not get in on the lottery that it was not meant to be for this year. While I am disappointed I also knew it could happen. So…. instead I have decided to run the Women Rock marathon here in MN on Sept. 1…. I am excited… looks like a great race…. last 6 miles are gradually down hill… nice!

Second… and the worst of the two…. I just got a call from my ENT and the CT shows that my left sinus is still completely blocked…. they don’t know why… possibly scar tissue… anyways- my second… yes second sinus surgery is scheduled for May 11th… so that’s that…. hopefully it really helps this time.

In other news… I head back to the NUCCA chiropractor tomorrow for my second adjustment… looking forward to see how it all turns out…. 

The girls and I head out to Seattle tomorrow to see Glen and run a race….. I have never been and am really excited!! The race should be interesting… I have been running more than I was before but still not to the level and time I was before I hurt my toe…. but I am hopeful! Wish me luck!

Distance: Going to run 5 today after I drop the girls at school… hopefully 40-42 mins
