Here we are…. 11 days after surgery number 2… to be honest- I am still in pain… come to find out that the ENT had to cut down bone when she was in there… and had I know she was going to do that I would had just had her throw in a nose job while she was there… but to no avail… still same old nose… and now just more pain. It is getting better with each day and I am really hoping that between the surgery, no dairy diet, and NUCCA chiropractor that I can avoid EVER getting a sinus infection again… heres hoping!

In running news… I was supposed to run the TC one mile with a friend but surgery prevented that from happening… instead I went and watched my cousin Elizabeth Yetzer (yes I am name dropping- I am proud of her!) compete in the women’s elite division… and she was amazing! I think her time was like 4 mins and 42 seconds… ridiculous… I can’t even fathom making my legs go that fast… I was hoping to run it in sub 7 mins! We also got a chance to watch my “cousin in law” Jeff Metzdorff (who recently won the New Prague Marathon- whoop whoop!) run and he did amazing as well…. 4 mins 28 seconds I think… I mean seriously…….. My next race is with Jeff… (though I will be no where near him) and his wife (my cousin) Bekah at Grandmas half marathon in Duluth. I am excited…. I have not been to Duluth since I was 7 and I hear Grandmas is an awesome race…. we will just see if my body is ready. I had to take 8 days off after surgery and am just getting back into the swing…heres hoping I am ready to go in 3 weeks!

In other news- since I did not get into the NYC marathon I have signed up for the Women Rock Marathon right here in the great state of MN. It is only 3 months away and that is a VERY scary thought….

We also just booked a trip to Key West (which I have never been) for this fall with friends and we are staying at…. wait for it…. The Real World house!! I think this was the last season of The Real World that I actually watched and I am super jazzed… going to be amazing…. see pict attached! I wish there was a race out there when we are out there but no luck Guess Ill just have to relax on vacation…

I am off to Preschool graduation… man… I am not ready for them to grow up…. tear….
