Hello all…. time for an update….
Last weekend I went with an amazing friend to do The Color Run MN…. for those who do not know what it is- you run ( or walk- there was a lot of walkers) a 5K and at each K there are people throwing colored starch on you…..sounds weird but it is a lot of fun! The only rule is that you have to come to the starting line with a white shirt… and by the end it is anything but white!
I highly recommend it- we will be back next year with our kiddos in tow…. there were lots of kids there and ours would of loved it! The amazing part to me was that they had over 19,000 runners (or walkers) come to the race…. listen people- if all we have to do to get enrollment up for Fifteens 5k is throw some stuff at you- that could be arranged…
In other running news…. I have not been running as frequently due to the yeast cleansing but am still hanging in there… I pulled out 9 miles around Calhoun the other day… I forgot how much I love that course~ will be back there soon! Going to run hills tomorrow…. a beast of a hill… mainly because I looked at the course for the Nike Womens Half Marathon out in SF that I am doing for Leukemia and our good friend T.O. and to say there are a few hills in it would be an understatement…. I need to get my booty used to CRAZY hills!!
The cleansing is going well… I have been getting colonics once a week and for the most part only eating chicken, beans, meat, spinach, cucumbers, carrots, avocado, broccoli, air popped popcorn, green tea, and a few other things. Other than a few slip ups with bread I have stayed pretty true to course… and to be honest I don’t crave sugar at all anymore… it is the WEIRDEST thing! In the beginning I never thought that would happen and yet here I am. I am done with the first 15 days and still have another 17 to go…. then I can slowly re-introduce some fruits, etc. I am feeling pretty good. I have had a few days of die off and the days that I do slip up I feel it immediately which is crazy to me as well! But in general- it has been tough but so far seems to be good… will let you know…

Hi Alisha! Yes get ready for the SF hills!! I’m glad the cleanse is going well! Maybe I should try if I can stop sugar!!
